Thank you for your interest in the Sydney Thunder T20 Youth Academy Program. By enrolling your child, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read carefully before completing registration. If you have any questions, contact the Sydney Thunder T20 Youth Academy Team.
1. Participation & Risk
- Participation in Sydney Thunder T20 Youth Academy Programs involves inherent risks including physical activity, ball impact, and interaction with other participants.
- By enrolling your child, you accept and agree to bear such risks on behalf of your child.
2. Registration & Attendance
- Your child must be appropriately registered and paid up for each program.
- Participation in one program does not guarantee a place in future programs.
- Children must arrive at least 5 minutes before start time to allow attendance recording.
- Late arrivals may be asked to wait until the current activity concludes
3. Equipment & Attire
- Participants must wear appropriate cricket attire.
- Protective gear such as pads, gloves, helmets must be worn when required.
- Participants must bring sufficient water and sun protection (hat, sunscreen).
4. Health & Safety
- Parents/guardians must inform the Academy of any medical conditions, allergies, asthma, injuries, or relevant illnesses.
- You grant permission for staff to administer first aid, call an ambulance, or take other emergency actions if required.
5. Media & Privacy
- The Academy may take photos or video footage of participants for promotional purposes. Copyright belongs to Sydney Thunder.
- CCTV or venue surveillance may capture participants for security purposes.
- Personal information will be collected and managed in accordance with Australian privacy laws and Sydney Thunder’s Privacy Policy.
6. Refunds & Cancelled Sessions
- Refunds are at the discretion of Sydney Thunder and only permitted under exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical condition preventing further participation).
- Sessions may be cancelled or rescheduled due to weather, venue unavailability, coach absence, or authority instructions.
- If a session is more than 75% complete at cancellation, it will be deemed completed.
- Otherwise, participants will be offered:
- No refunds or credits apply for non-attendance at scheduled sessions.
- A make-up session, or
- A pro-rata credit valid for 12 months, or
- A refund if neither option is reasonably possible.
7. Code of Conduct
- Participants and parents/guardians must respect coaches, staff, other attendees, and members of the public.
- Bad language, violence, disruptive behaviour, or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated. Offenders may be removed without refund.
- Parents/guardians must remain outside the training area and collect children promptly at session end.
- Persistent late collection may result in exclusion from the program without refund.
8. Exclusion & Compliance
- Failure to follow reasonable instructions from Academy staff may result in exclusion from sessions or programs.
- Breaches of the Code of Conduct may lead to termination of registration without refund.
